Most of us buy these powerful devices, not for entertainment purposes, but to access more information quickly and easily. We’ve become an age that depends on our mobile devices for various reasons… for business, social networking, area deals and yes, even real estate. In 2010, the number of people who sought local information from their smart phones grew by 51%, and the fastest growing method of gaining information is through downloaded Apps. If you’re an on-the-go house hunter, there are many Apps that can give you quick access to area listings. I’d like to touch on a few of these this week and hopefully give you tips and tricks to get the most out of your Apps.
I’d like to start with the Real Estate Book app… this great app gives users access to all of its listings — millions of homes for sale across the U.S. and around the world. The app is a FREE download from Apple’s iTunes store and offers the following:
- Search for home listings by city and state/province or zip code
- Map and receive directions to property listings from your current location
- View full property details and photos of home listings
- Save favorites and share them or create notes about properties; attach photos that can be viewed or emailed at a later time
- Email or call the Real Estate Agent directly from the listing
- View previous searches and perform advanced searches by bed/bath, price, MLS# or property type
