As we were driving west on SR64 to Chase’s lacrosse practice, I observed the many “FOR RENT”, “FOR LEASE”, and “FOR SALE” signs that adorned the multitude of commercial properties along the way. I sighed and told my boyfriend, “I wish I had money”. As he did, you may ask “why?”. Five years ago, I was in the beginning stages of launching my own business… a graphic design boutique. Prices to rent, lease or buy had sky-rocketed through the roof and I had no idea how I would be able to afford all of the costs involved. It seemed impossible.
